Our client is an international company of consultants and engineers, with knowledge in a wide range of industries and technological areas. They have a global presence, with over 3000 employees in principal offices within the Netherlands, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
They are looking to recruit a Safety Consultant (design).
Principle Duties:
• Conducting HAZOP and HAZID studies;
• Preparation of Quantitative Risk Assessments;
• Providing HSE sections of basis of design, project execution plan, HSE design philosophy etc. for projects;
• Performing safety engineering such as the design of safety systems;
• Coordinating HSE reviews across functional disciplines to ensure that HSE activities and studies are identified and conducted;
• Providing input into tendering and business development processes
• Training and sharing knowledge with younger employees.
• Maintaining contacts with existing clients and developing contacts with new clients
Compensation & Benefits: Open to negotiation, commensurate with qualifications and experience
Minimum Qualifications:
-Candidates should have 8 years experience in multidisciplinary projects and a degree in Chemical Engineering (B.Sc./M.Sc.).
-They should have excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.
-They should be customer oriented and be highly adaptive and flexible.
