Project Manager

• Assist Execution Contract Manager in ensuring proper liaison through timely, effective and complete communication.

• Provide management and technical support to the Execution Contract Management Team during execution of the work.

• Manage project communications, information and documentation in area of responsibility.

• Manage and implement Project Execution Procedures, Interface Management Procedures, Change Management Procedures, Risk Management Procedures and IMIS (Information Management Integration System).

• Liaison with and co-ordination of Contractors and Suppliers to re resolve technical, schedule and commercial issues.

The job holder is responsible for/to:

• Reporting and updating the Execution Contract Manager on all aspect of the CONTRACTOR’s and AMT’s progress, highlights and concerns.
• Lead a team of ECMT engineers and manage resources based in different location (at Contractor’s premises, London AKCO offices).
• Assist the Execution Contract Manager to ensure that operations are conducted in compliance with HSE legislation and Company policy, plans and procedures, ensuring that supporting managers, staff and the CONTRACTOR are kept informed of all relevant information to ensure their Health, Safety and the protection of the Environment.

• Assist the Execution Contract Manager to ensure that the interface and co-ordination with the Power Generation Plant, Utilities Area and Industrial Area Contractors is effectively managed.
• Manage the interfaces and work together with different project teams (eg, Eskene West Rail Project based in London) in order to define common systems.
• Being responsible of the finalisation of submissions in close co-operation with C&P London.

• Assisting in managing claims from a technical and commercial standpoint liaising and working together with C&P London.
• Liaise and ensure the support of engineering, HSE and permitting resources based in London.
• Addressing and managing the Agip KCO requirements for integration of Construction, Mechanical Completion, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning aspects of the Power Generation Plant, Utilities Area and Industrial Area Contracts.

• Monitor the performance of the Contractors and Suppliers and ensure the appropriate resources are assigned to execute the work to the required quality standard and within the agreed schedule.
• Implementation of the Interface Management Process. Act as a focal point on the management of Interfaces within area of responsibility to ensure a timely and appropriate resolution.
•Support IMIS implementation and operation and populate IMIS with specified project information and documentation.

• Implementation of and ensure compliance with Change and Risk Management Procedures.
• Ensure timely review / comment / approval as appropriate of all technical documentation e.g. engineering documents, shop drawings, engineering queries, procedures, manuals, reports, etc.
• Setting up the Project Administration and Document Control Systems at Work Sites.

• Assist as necessary with QA Audits on Contractor’s Systems and Procedures.
• Responsible for alerting the EC Manager of potential schedule, commercial and HSE risks

The job holder must have:

• An Engineering or technical degree.
• Not less than 5 years of working experience in oil & gas industry, both offshore and onshore.
• Not less than 3 years of experience of working with contractors and supervising the contractors.
• Working in a prior similar role would be beneficial.
