In line with their increasing business in SE-Asia, our client is looking for a Power Plant Consulting Engineer for their power projects.
Your scope of work may include, depending on your qualifications, experience and interests, some of the following:
Assistance in power plant feasibility studies and lenders engineer projects, power project development, heat and mass balance calculations for thermal power projects, analysis of power and steam demand for industries, energy balance calculations, power plant conceptual design, preparation of technical specifications for power projects, monitoring of power plant construction projects, as well as preparation of investment cost and O&M cost estimates.
Job training will be provided to help the employee to master the work requirements. Part of the work involves writing reports in English language, so excellent English language skill is essential.
The qualifications and requirements for the position are:
Higher professional degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, energy economics or other field relevant for power sector (M.Sc. or B.Sc.) with above average grades
Fluent in English
Good skills in report writing
Good skills in Microsoft Word and Excel computer programs
Enjoys analyzing and solving complex technical or techno-economical issues
Interested in continuous self-development and learning
The position is located in Bangkok, Thailand. The job includes occasional trips to other SE-Asian countries, so willingness to travel on short-term assignments is expected.
