Senior Business Developer
North Africa

Organisation
A Senior Business Developer is required to join a company that has been active in North Africa for almost 50 years and developed a strong position as one of the main international oil and gas producers there. The company plans to expend their activities to other countries in this core area with the vision to create an integrated gas chain from North Africa to Europe.

Job Description
The Senior Business Developer will provide support to the North Africa New Business Manager and will be accountable for supporting the implementation of the North African strategy through the development of new E&P projects. Specific responsibilities will include:
• Develop and implement a country entry strategy for Egypt
• Identify highly distinctive E&P opportunities in Egypt and manage the valuation of these projects through to board approval
• Develop and manage relationships with industry players and partners

Education and Experience
Applicants must have a good level of experience of business development and project management in an E&P related environment. They must be degree qualified in Geology or Geophysics and have experience in dealing with National Oil companies. Fluency in English is essential as is the capacity to build networks and relationships in a cross cultural environment. Experience in North African E&P energy sectors is desirable.
