To act as the focal point between the Area Manager and the company's Management Team (AMT) in:

~ Ensuring proper liaison through timely, effective and complete communication.
~ Monitoring alignment of AMT with contractual terms, conditions and Company requirements.
~ Supporting the Area Manager in controlling and monitoring the Execution Contractors.
~ Supporting the Area Manager in liasing with the different Company functions relevant to the execution of the Contract (Construction, Commissioning, Permitting and Certification, etc.)

The job holder is responsible for:

• Reporting and updating the Offsite Project manager on all aspect of the CONTRACTOR’s and AMT’s progress, highlights and concerns.
• Leading and motivating the AMT’s team responsible for the monitoring of the Tanks and North Offsites, including the related assigned packages.
• Ensuring that operations are conducted in compliance with HSE legislation and Company policy, plans and procedures, ensuring that supporting managers, staff and the CONTRACTOR are kept informed of all relevant information to ensure their Health, Safety and the protection of the Environment.

• Ensuring that the interface and co-ordination relevant to the Tanks and North Offsites Area is effectively managed.
• Taking ownership of and ensuring that the Onshore Quality Plan is implemented as it applies to the Tanks and North Offsites AMT. To review the audit findings of the CONTRACTOR QA/QC Engineer to ensure that the CONTRACTORS are meeting his QA and QC obligations.
• Ensuring, by awareness of RoK requirements that CONTRACTOR deliver a comprehensive Permitting and Certification matrix and delivers to it.

• Ensuring CONTRACTOR and the AMT reviews the current design relative to Operability, Maintainability and Constructability, and that appropriate representation from Operations and Construction are involved in the process.
• Maintaining and Controlling change through the Project Change Procedure. To review and evaluate any proposals/requests for change and ensure that the correct technical support is accounted for in decision making.
• Managing and reporting progress, cost control and contract administration in accordance with Project procedures. To manage and control the overall Project budget.

• Addressing the Agip KCO requirements for integration of Construction, Mechanical Completion, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning aspects of the Tanks an North Offsites Contract.
• Liaising/ interfacing and coordinating with other Offsite project areas.

The job holder must have:

• An Engineering or technical degree.
• Not less than 10 years of working experience in oil & gas industry, both offshore and onshore.
• Not less than 3 years of experience of working with contractors and supervising the contractors.

Working in a prior similar role would be beneficial.
